Returning to USA (from Canada)
Pleasure craft returning to the USA are required to report their return to the United States via phone provided that all of the passengers have one of the following:

five year cost is $50/individual or $258/family
I-68 (Canadian Border Boat Landing Permit)

annual cost is $16/individual or $32/family
If any person on the vessel does not have one of the above they are required to report to the nearest Customs and Border Protection Port of Entry.
Also vessels over 30 feet are required to have a customs decal.
